Hellloooo lovelies! Sorry for the super late post, I know I’m usually more on top of things, but lately I’ve just been laggin’. As it stands, it took me a minute to figure out what I wanted to post about today. I haven’t really finished anything — quite the opposite, I’m actually in the very middle of The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi. Spoiler alert, this book is wonderful and magical with the beautiful backdrop of Paris and just a little bit of court intrigue…minus the actual court? Anyway, I’ll keep my thoughts for my review!
So that brings me back to what I should post about. I actually had to take a minute at work and think about it, and doing that made me realize I hadn’t done a haul in a while. Now I knew I hadn’t posted many hauls, buuuuut that’s because I was on a book buying ban, and I still am! I’ve been pretty good about buying books for myself, thank goodness, but I’ve somehow managed to accumulate a few from my boxes and friends and publishers! So here’s what I got.
Also from a bookish box, Faecrate to be specific, I received, Vortex Visions by Elise Kova. Now I’m excited about any new fantasy I get, but I probably won’t get to this one for a while since it is a spin off of another series (Air Awakens). Hopefully I can do a binge read soon! Now….now onto the books I’m exceptionally excited about. And sorry about there not being photos of the books, my wifi has been really wonky lately.
Firstly, the lovely Stacia, my fellow book owl and all around lovely human, was kind enough to share her e-arc of Kingsbane by Claire Legrand aka one of my most anticipated releases. I may have made a pterodactyl scream at work when I found out. It was super attractive. Second, but not any less exciting is The Last Hope by Krista and Becca Ritchie. This is the sequel to The Raging Ones which I think was my first, or one of my first posts here on the blog. I may also be participating in this blog tour and I’m super excited because I legitimately enjoyed the first one! Lastly, I got an e-arc of The Ever Tilting World by Rin Chupeco. I don’t know much about this story, but it sounds very sci-fi/fantasy which is always right up my alley. I really enjoyed her other series, the first of which is The Bone Witch.
If you’re wondering why I didn’t post a synopsis for any of these books, don’t fret, I’ll more than likely be doing a review or wrap up overview for them! Anywho, that’s all from me for today!
What books are you guys super excited for??
