Book Hauls - Stacia

February Book Haul!

As some of you may know, my birthday was this past Wednesday (happy 24th to meeee). As such I purchased myself some gifts and I was fortunate enough to receive things from some AMAZING people as well. Twas quite a haul of stuff and I am so thankful to each person for all the love they’ve shown!

The Goods 🙂

📚 Little White Lies ARC by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

📚 The Boyfriend Bracket by Kate Evangelista

📚 Little Monsters by Kara Thomas

📚 The Chaos of Stars by Kiersten White

📚 Illusions of Fate by Kiersten White

📚 The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

🎁 I was absolutely over the moon to have received a message from Lish McBride offering me her extra ARC of Girls with Sharp Sticks by Suzanne Collins. I cannot express my gratitude enough and I also can’t wait to meet these pokey girls!

Check out for the synopsis and to add it to your already toppling TBR piles. This book will release in March, so I’m hoping to read it before then, and have a review posted for your viewing pleasure.

🎁 Recently, I had the opportunity to become a #BookShark. It’s a bit like being an influencer for for BookSparks. They often have giveaways of books and ARCs and they use they us BookSharks to review the ARCs and such! This month they had BAEgrams (Books Are Everything) up for purchase for $10! I grabbed the YA one and received a bookmark, a sticker, a sucker and second copy of THE MIDNIGHTS by Sarah Nicole Smetana. I’ll be using this copy in my giveaway (running now! It’s a great giveaway with tons up for grabs, so go to @stacialovestoread on Instagram to enter!)

🎁 My dear sister-friend Monét (@blackbibliophile) made a little book bag for my birthday. It had a cute bookmark, a notebook, a candle (!!), and a wooden plaque in it. Also, there were four books:

📚 Furyborn by Claire Legrand. I’m actually suuuuper looking forward to this one. I read Sawkill Girls by her last year and it was the bee’s knees.

📚 The Diabolic by SJ Kincaid. I love this cover and the concept. We shall see how it goes!

📚 November 9 by Colleen Hoover. I don’t know why but for some reason I’m really liking romances now. This one shall join the ranks.

📚 Splintered by AG Howard. I previously had a copy of and tried to read Roseblood by the same author. I couldn’t get in to Roseblood but maybe this one will be better!

🎁 My love Emily sent me a gift as well of The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion. I’ve been feeling romances lately so this is perrrfect.

🎁 I received a gift from the ever amazing Margoe. She gifted me two books:

📚 Akata Witch by Nnedi Okorafor.

📚 Akata Warrior by Nnedi Okorafor.

These books are two in a series about a Nigerian-American girl with super powers and such. Really cool. V v interesting.

🎁 The everkind Whitney gifted me some things as well! A couple boxes of Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans, a gummy Hedwig, and a SIGNED BOOKPLATE FOR FURYBORN. Also…

📚 A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro. I looove BBC’s Sherlock tv show and mysteries have become ~my jam~ this past year so I’m feeling it. Also @meltotheany recommended it so I had to pick it up.
