Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Surprisingly I had a few books with less than 2,000 ratings on them, but I narrowed it down to 10 that were my absolute favorites. A few of these I was honestly surprised at since they were so good and seemed to be well known in the book community.

  1. The Winter Sister by Megan Collins

I love a good murder mystery and a toxic Mother-Daughter Relationship.

  1. Blanca & Roja by Anna-Marie Mclemore

This was such an amazing retelling. Anna will always be one of my absolute favorites.

3. The Sacrifice Box by Martin Stewart

Cover

The sacrifice box is a super cute paranormal middle grade in my opinion. I was offered a spot on a blog tour for it and I’m so glad that I did it. Easily a fave.

4. To Be Honest by Maggie Ann Martin

This one will always hold a special place in my heart for the amazing fat rep it had. As a chubby girl, this book meant the world to me.

5. Toil & Trouble edited by Tess Sharpe & Jessica Spotswood

Toil & Trouble is an amazing book and the fact that it’s under 2,000 ratings just makes me wanna cry. This book is so good and has the greatest stories to tell.

6. The Apocalypse of Elena Mendoza by Shaun David Hutchinson

Faith, science and atheism in one book? Count me in!

7. His Outback Nanny by Annie Seaton

Outback Nanny is the cutest romance story.

8. Paintbrush by Hanna Bucchin

Cute hippie love story. I’m so happy I had the opportunity to review this from NetGalley.

9. What I Lost by Alexandra Ballard

This showed so much about eating disorders and what someone goes through while dealing with this horrible illness.

10. The Color Project by Sierra Abrams

Color Project was such a cute contemporary that is hilarious and romantic.

Some of these I absolutely adore and love. These are my Top Ten. Do you see any of your favorites? What was on your Top Ten list?
