Time for another wrap-up! If you recall, I’d set up my TBR for the month, hoping to get through some of them. I actually stuck (pretty okay-ish) to said TBR and only deviated a little…
This month I actually read:
📚 Antisocial by Jillian Blake
📚 Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan
5 ⭐️. This book was amazing. I loved it. BIG TW for violence and sexual assault. Read my Goodreads review here.
📚 Pretty in Punxsutawney by Laurie Boyle Crompton
4.5 ⭐️. I have never seen Groundhog Day but I can imagine how annoying and monotonous it can become to be stuck in the same day over and over. In this book, Andie finds herself trapped constantly on the first day of school and has to make the best of it. Read my full Goodreads review here.
📚 The Last Summer by Moira Daly
1⭐️. This book was rough from the start. There’s a lot of telling and not much showing. Read my full Goodreads review here.
📚 The Wicked Deep by Shea Earnshaw
3⭐️. This one had been raced about by book readers everywhere…but for some reason it didn’t hit those same notes with me. Read my Goodreads review here.
📚 Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
5 ⭐️. I loved this book. The tragedy of never being able to experience the outside world and then meeting a boy who suddenly makes you feel so alive. Amazing book. This review is the first of its kind…I’ve got a bit of a playlist to go along with it! Check it out on Goodreads here.
📚 Meant to Be by Alison Bliss (ARC)
5⭐️. This was a short novella to go along with another book in her series but man, it was good. There’s some decent character development along the way and a few steamy scenes toward the end. Read my Goodreads review here. Thank you to Netgalley for the ebook.
