This month, I was a good little Stacia and I only bought 1 book, but I used a gift card from Christmas so it doesn’t count. Anyway, here’s all my new babies:
From @littlecrowcandles on Instagram:
📚Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. I’ve actually never read a book of hers but she has amazing reviews and people rave about her so I’ll try it!
📚Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. This one actually sounds like something I would never pick up. But here lately I’ve been reading books out of my comfort zone and loving it so, here’s to Cath!
Thank you Julia! (@crazy.hedgehog.lady)
📚The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. I’ve heard rave reviews. Cardan is the best and Jude is too (I guess)? We shall see.
📚PS – I Love You by Kasie West. This one is a funny story, to me at least. I sent a copy of this to a friend for Christmas because she’s a fan of the author and then a few weeks later, the same title turns up in the box of fun Julia sent me!
📚Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies by Lindsay Ribar. I have actually never heard of this book at all, but it sounds fun. Romance is slowly becoming something I like and I’ve always been a fan of the paranormal!
From Margoe (@little_dragon_pants). Seriously, she’s amazing. If you don’t have a Margoe, get you one because she is the kindest person and most selfless human I’ve encountered. And I am forever grateful.
📚 Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend. I am so excited to read this one! It’s a cute middle grade (which I still read and love) and the cover is so whimsical!
📚Illuminae by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman. Zakiya (@toborroworbuy) has been raving about this since the day she found out I’ve never read the series. She was so disappointed to learn I’d never even heard of it. I will make her happy.
📚The Love Interest by Cale Dietrich. This book features teens who are actually secret agents. Totally Spies was one of my favorite shows as a kid so I’m all in on this one!
I was also contacted via my Instagram by an author, Ms. Moira Daly, who gave me the opportunity to review any of her published works. I chose The Last Summer (my review is up on Goodreads, click HERE). I will link Ms. Daly’s website here.
And lastly, the one book I bought myself:
📚Five Feet Apart by Rachael Lippincott. I’m suuuper stoked to read this one in February with some buddies! Fun fact: I’m currently studying Respiratory Therapy in college…the main character of the book has Cystic Fibrosis….CFers rely heavily on RTs for their care.
So how about you, did you pick up anything good this month?
