Top Ten Tuesday #4 – most anticipated 2019 releases

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This weeks topic is most anticipated releases for the first half of 2019, but I don’t think I have many so I’m gonna change it up and just do the whole year.

1. Priory of the orange tree by Samantha Shannon

I am so hyped for this. It sounds absolutely amazing and that cover is stunning. You can check out the synopsis on goodreads

2. Four Dead Queen by Astrid Scholte

I don’t know much about this one, the cover is absolutely gorgeous and I’m intrigued. Goodreads

3. The past and other things that should stay buried by Shaun David Hutchinson

I loved Shaun’s book the apocalypse of Elena Mendoza. I want to read all his work now and this one about a boy who can talk back to the dead and when his friend dies he comes back to life and the two try to figure out what is happening Goodreads

4. 99 percent mine by Sally throne

I honestly have no clue what this is about, but the hating game is one of my favorite books and I’m here for this one ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚

5. The Dreamers by Karen Thompson Walker

This one sounds so good. It is about a girl who falls into a deep sleep and doesn’t come out but has a lot of brain activity going on. This sounds like it could be an amazing sci-fi book ๐Ÿ˜

6. The bride test by Helena Hoang

I loved this kiss quotient and I can’t wait to read this one. It is about an autistic man who’s mother is trying to find him the perfect bride. Only the bride is head over heels for him, but he doesn’t return the affection. This is my second most anticipated of the year and I’m here for it. Goodreads

7. Inspection by Josh Malerman

I am interested in all of josh malermans books after watching bird box. This one deals with two main characters J and K. Who are in schools out in the forest only they have no clue the other sex exists. J goes to an all boy school while K goes to an all girl school. Goodreads

8. The rise of magicks by Nora Roberts

I just finished year one and I’m blown away. I’m picking up book 2 here soon and I can’t wait to see how everything wraps up in book 3.

9. Lock Every Door by Riley Sager

I honestly don’t know much about this one, but I loved Final Girls and The Last Time I Lied. I am stoked to read his third novel and I can’t wait. Goodreads

10. Wicked Saints by Emily A. Duncan

I’ve seen this posted everywhere and honestly I’m here for it. It sounds so damn good. There no way I can describe it well enough so I will link Goodreads so you can check it out.

These are my ten most anticipated releases for 2019. Do you see anything on your TBR? What are your most anticipated releases?
