Happy (almost) New Years! Christmas has passed and now we’re on our way to a whole new year. I was fortunate enough to have received many gifts during the holidays, and here I’m going to show a haul of everything I got!
From myself, to myself:
I purchased 10 books from bookoutlet(dot)com during their Black Friday sale fully aware that they’d be for Christmas. A list is below:
📚 Secrets, Lies, and Scandals by Amanda K. Morgan
📚 Brave New Girl by Rachel Vincent
📚 Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
📚 Furthermore by Tahreh Mafi
📚 Roses and Rot by Kat Howard
📚 The Girl in the Picture by Alexandra Monir
📚 The Afterlife of Holly Chase by Cynthia Hand

I also purchased myself the signed red Barnes & Noble edition of Children of Blood and Bone (one of my favorite reads of last year) by Tomi Adeyemi as well as paperback copies of the Six of Crows/Crooked Kingdom duology by Leigh Bardugo, and also a copy of The Midnights by Sarah Nicole Smetana.
I also was fortunate enough to have won a couple giveaways! The first was from @booksbyashliandtrishaedwards . I won a copy of their self published book Athena, and I was allowed a book of my own choosing. I decided on The Kiss Quotient by debut author Helen Houang after receiving the recommendation from @acourtofcrownsandquills on Instagram.
I won a November book box from Unplugged Book Box and, along with all the sweet bookish goodies, a copy of Come November by Katrin van Dam was included!
First off, my dear friend Des and I decided to make each a custom book box for a Christmas gift. The box she sent to me was amazing and I love everything in it:
📚 Shiny Broken Pieces by Sona Charaipotra & Dhonielle Clayton
📚 Tiny Pretty Things by Sona Charaipotra & Dhonielle Clayton
She also sent me a couple candles, a booksleeve, 2 new Pop Funkos, a cute owl 🦉 mug, and some candy 🍬!
Heather of @heatherfulreads sent me a copy of The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton. We just finished buddy reading this together and it was really good!
Margoe sent me a copy of Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan. As soon as I read the synopsis for this book it shot straight to the top of my wishlist. True to fashion, it’s near the top of my 2019 TBR too!
I also received a book from across the pond! Georgia sent me a copy of Rosemarked by Livia Blackburne.
My dear friend Whitney gifted me some items as well!
📚 The Girl at Midnight by Melissa Grey
📚 Dreamology by Lucy Keating
And a mug with a cozy filled with candy!
A church friend of mine, D, gifted me a copy of The Armor of GOD by Priscilla Shirer
Lastly, my sweet, wonderful, amazing boyfriend, Honeybun*, gave me a copy of the screenplay of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: Crimes of Grindelwald by the Queen JK Rowling, A replica of Professor Sluggorn’s wand, a wand stand, and the twin pack of baby Niffler Funkos!
I was hoping to get pictures of everything, but I didn’t because they’re all spread throughout my shelves now, but feel free to browse my Bookstagram account @stacialovestoread. I have a highlight called “Christmas haul” and it has everything there to see!
Today’s question: How was your Christmas? Did you get any new books?
