July Book Haul

I wanted this post to go up earlier this morning, but I had so much cleaning to do and catching up on buddy reads. Anyways this month I ended up with quite a few books from trading especially and I also purchased a few.

Books I purchased –

I had a few extra book of the month credits I needed to use before I cancelled my membership. I picked The Last time I lied, Ghosted, and Not That I Could Tell. I loved Final Girls by Riley Sager and wanted to pick up last time I lied and see if it was just as good. Ghosted and Not that I could tell because i had seen other blogger and booktubers talking about them and they sounded super good. I’m hoping to get to them in the next few months. All we ever wanted sounded like a really cute book that I saw @katereadsbooks on Instagram was raving about and I figured what the hell. Eleanor Oliphant and Baby teeth were recommended to me by a good friend, so I had to get them.

Books I was sent –

Josie Jaffrey was so nice and sent me her first 4 books in her other series. She even sent me the first one in her new series and I’m so excited to read it. She is super sweet and her books are the bomb. I loved the others and I’m hoping this one is just as good.

Mass Market Paperback (Trades)

These were honestly some romance books that a super awesome blogger was nice enough to send me for only 2 of my books. They sound so good and I’m in the mood for romance books right now, so these are perfect.

Arcs I Traded for –

I found some super awesome trade in the Facebook groups I’m in. Some of these are just books I wanted the chance to read and pass on. Others will go in my collection and possibly a few giveaways. The four I’m most excited to read Fat Girl on a Plane, Shadow of the Fox, Girls of Paper and Fire, and OCD Love Story. They all sound amazing and I’m so happy to have the chance to read Shadow of the Fox and Girls of Paper and Fire Early.

Hardbacks I Traded for –

Twinkle I had as an arc and read it right before release, but I’m so glad to finally have a finished copy now. Simon wanted after watching the movie, I’m so excited to read the book. I’ve heard so many good thing about quite a few in this stack and I’m excited to add them to my tbr.

Paperbacks I Traded for –

I don’t buy or trade for paperbacks very often, but some of these are paperback only print copies. All your perfects I’m honestly 50/50 on because well…. its a colleen hoover book, but I still want to give it a chance and especially after booksandlala said she loved it. A thousand perfect notes and Blood red road I’ve heard so many good things about and now that I have copies of them I’m so excited to get to read them.

I got quite a few books this month and my TBR is 10 miles long, lol. Have you read any of these books? What books did you get this month?

      1. Same, I don’t think I’ve heard a single negative review yet except from one person who said they didn’t care about the content because they couldn’t relate. I’ve struggled with some of the topics discussed in the book firsthand, though, so I expect it to be great but super sad.
